The State of Washington, Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from individuals and firms interested in participating on a project to implement a modern and flexible payroll-like compensation management solution that utilizes an Application Service Provider (ASP) business model. The purpose of this RFP is to acquire an Application Service Provider solution and supporting services for processing deductions and payments for social service providers employed by clients of DSHS or clients of the Department of Early Learning (DEL). These providers may be covered by different Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and have their wages reported on 1099 and/or W2 forms. DSHS intends to procure an existing ASP solution and then have the ASP solution customized to meet the specific needs of DSHS. Please remember that the RFP document will NOT be available before November 13, 2009. On that date, you may access this RFP on the following websites: http://www1.dshs.wa.gov/msa/ccs/ or https://fortress.wa.gov/ga/webs/ As of November 1, 2008 DSHS is required to release competitive business opportunities through the Washington Electronic Business Solutions (WEBS) system. This requirement replaces the need to publish legal notice in the Daily Journal of Commerce (DJC). Although DSHS may opt to publish legal notices in the DJC, DSHS is no longer required to and may only release information on WEBS. DSHS encourages all businesses to register on WEBS. If you are interested in DSHS Client and Personal Service formal competitive business opportunities, DSHS recommends you include WEBS Commodity Codes 9826 – Social Services Personal Consulting and 9825 - Social/Client Service Contractors in your WEBS Commodity Code selection. For more information on the WEBS registration process, contact webscustomerservice@ga.wa.gov or (360) 902-7400. Thanks..........AndyK |
