DBE Certification
OMWBE processes applications for certification for the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program by contract with the Washington State Department of Transportation.
If you wish to do business with WSDOT as a certified firm, you must be certified in the DBE program.
Attention DBEs: Please be sure to check the types of work for which you are certified to ensure it is accurate. (Look at the description of the types of work your company performs on OMWBE’s webpage). WSDOT requires that you be certified in the type of work for which you are bidding if the work is to be credited as work performed by a DBE. Bids have been rejected because DBEs are named by primes to perform work for which they are not certified.
