INVITATION TO BID (ITB)

STEEL TRANSMISSION POLE PURCHASE

PROJECT NO: 24-029-MESS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:  The Port of Longview will receive bids for the purchase of a steel transmission pole at the Port of Longview, 10 International Way- Longview, WA 98632, either in person, delivery by USPS or other carrier/courier, or via email to: cengebo@portoflongview.com no later than March 29, 2024 @ 4:00 p.m. The agreement is subject to funding availability and Board of Commission approval.

BID DOCUMENTS: The complete bid documents may be accessed from the Port’s website at http://www.portoflongview.com/Bids.aspx. In addition to posting on the Port’s website, the Port may email notice of solicitation and addenda information to known bidders for convenience purposes only. The Port shall not be held responsible for a bidder’s failure to receive the email with the addenda information. Those interested in obtaining addenda information via email must send the Port its request in writing to the following email address: cengebo@portoflongview.com.

This project is funded by USDOT federal funds.  Award is subject to funding availability, Board of Commission approval, and federal terms and conditions as described in the bidding documents.

PREBID QUESTIONS, DISCREPANCIES, AND CLARIFICATIONS: Any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the bidding documents or doubts as to the meaning shall be brought to the Port’s attention by March 20, 2024 @ 5:00 p.m. Questions, discrepancies, and clarifications received after this date may go unanswered. All questions, discrepancies, clarifications, etc. must be submitted electronically to: cengebo@portoflongview.com. During the competitive bidding process, bidders (and their agents) are prohibited from contacting any Port offices other than the Purchasing Division to obtain responses to any questions. The Port may find a bidder non-responsive for failing to adhere to any of the above requirements.
