Request for Qualification Data to Furnish Engineering Services
The Town of Washtucna is requesting qualified engineers to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for providing engineering services related to the design and construction administration for the Railroad Well Project which includes construction of a new potable groundwater well and decommissioning of the existing well. Further information on these projects is provided in the Town of Washtucna’s Railroad Well Evaluation Report (June 2015), which is available for review at the Town Hall during business hours. Consultant selection will be based upon the following criteria: 1) firm experience; 2) proposed consultant team; 3) project understanding and approach; 4) past performance/references; 5) familiarity with community and local knowledge; and 6) application and administration experience with federally funded projects, especially Washington Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Interviews may be held at the Town’s discretion.
Firms desiring consideration shall submit five copies of their SOQ to the Town of Washtucna, 165 South Main Street, Washtucna WA 99371. Submittals must be received by December 15, 2017, no later than 5:00 p.m. (local time). SOQs shall not exceed 25 total pages, excluding front and back covers.
The project is funded through the Washington CDBG Program with federal funds provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Town of Washtucna is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. Minority and women-owned firms are encouraged to submit an SOQ.
The Town of Washtucna reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs and to waive irregularities and informalities in the submittal evaluation process. This solicitation does not bind the Town of Washtucna to pay any costs incurred by the respondents in the preparation and submission of an SOQ. This solicitation does not bind the Town of Washtucna to accept or contract for any express or implied services.
