CALL FOR BIDS

Sterling Pines Renovation

The Housing Authority of Thurston County (HATC) is receiving sealed bids for the renovation of the Sterling Pines Renovation project in Tumwater, WA. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: interior renovations of 24 units, overlaying new siding, replace storm drain system, and landscaping. Cost estimate range: $2.9 MM to $3.2 MM.

Bids will be received at the HATC’s office at 1206 12th Ave SE, Olympia, WA, until 3:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time, on May 29, 2024. Bids will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this day and time will not be considered. Contract will be awarded or rejected within 45 days of the bid opening. Bids shall be delivered to the HATC in person or by mail. The HATC does not pre-qualify bidders. An investigation of the apparent low bidder will be conducted to determine the capability of the bidder to perform the work. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for May 14, 2024 at the job site at 10:00 AM. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend. A Bid Security in the form of a Cashier’s Check or Surety Bond shall accompany each Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the combined Base Bid and all alternates, and made payable to the Housing Authority of Thurston County. This Contract is subject to Washington State Prevailing Wage requirements. The HATC reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and in particular, to reject a Bid not accompanied by the required Bid Security or data required by the Bidding Documents, or a bid in any way late, incomplete or irregular.
